How can you find low-cost concert tickets?

The greatest strategy to get inexpensive concert tickets is to get them at a low cost.

In all seriousness, I'd say there are two ways to get cheap concert tickets: presales and last-minute purchases. Let's take a closer look at each of them.

find low-cost concert tickets by Presales

To begin, what exactly is a presale?

A presale is an opportunity to buy anything before the general public. In this example, the ability to purchase concert tickets prior to the general sale date.

Because these tickets are being offered early, you will have access to a limited number of them, with a potentially smaller pool of buyers because not everyone will be able to participate in one or more of the presale chances.

Many presales are distributed via newsletters, fan groups, social media profiles, or are combined with the purchase of an item.

Sometimes the presale code is unique, and sometimes it is more generic. Furthermore, presale codes may be linked directly to your account, while others may be shared, so it is critical to understand when codes are unique and how they can be used.

A unique code will often exist for paid fan club members or through the Ticketmaster Verified Fan Presale, and once used for the specified quantity of tickets, the code cannot be used again.

However, not all unique codes are directly linked to one account (ie, a unique code can still be shared but not to exceed the event/tour ticket purchase limit).

Bands such as Def Leppard will provide a presale code usable for a specific number of tickets for an ENTIRE TOUR, whilst others, such as Zac Brown Band, will issue unique codes that are only limited by each tour EVENT.

However, in both of these circumstances, the code is not directly linked to the fan club account, which means that if you and a friend are both trying to acquire tickets to one of their performances, you can both use the same code (just be sure not to go over the ticket limits or else all tickets may get cancelled).

Other presales, such as the Ticketmaster Verified Fan presale, will provide a unique code to the Ticketmaster account that originally signed up for the presale. This requires that unique account to be used when attempting to purchase event tickets, and it cannot be shared.

Furthermore, Ticketmaster has disabled the possibility for an account to be logged in more than once when going through the Ticketmaster Verified Fan presale process, prohibiting fans from attempting to obtain more than one position in their virtual smart queue.

Purchase of Last-Minute Tickets

If you're trying to purchase tickets at the last minute, you can often anticipate seeing ticket prices start to decline a few weeks ahead to the event, with the biggest discounts typically occurring 72 hours prior to the event.

The primary cause of this is that those who can no longer attend the event will start to market their tickets, which may cause those who bought tickets with the intention of reselling them to start to worry that they might get nothing in return. Last but not least, the box office might start disclosing last-minute holds to the general public as well, thus reducing the supply of tickets.

The most crucial thing to remember when purchasing last-minute tickets is that you must be aware of your information as soon as possible.

This includes being aware of your traveling companions, your spending limit, and your preferred seating location.

The next step is to compare ticket costs between the box office and the various secondary markets after you have that settled.

Get a good understanding of the ticket pricing, and then wait patiently to see whether they start to decline. It is best to make your plans as soon as possible so you have time to monitor changes in ticket prices and availability levels.

Lock on those savings when there are enough tickets in the ideal location and price range for you. You can always put things off till the last minute (as I may have done in the video...) Although there is never a guarantee that ticket prices will continue to decline, if the price is appropriate, it makes sense to just get the tickets at that time.

The cost of tickets is influenced by a variety of factors, so don't anticipate things to improve as you wait. Having your tickets in hand sooner may be something to think about because sometimes the stress might be too much for people.

Thank you
