how to get StubHub tickets into apple wallet

StubHub is the world's largest ticket marketplace, with over 10 million live sports, music, and theater events accessible in over 40 countries. Through our desktop and mobile platforms, we empower experience seekers to purchase and sell tickets whenever and wherever they choose.

StubHub is a ticket exchange and resale company based in the United States. It facilitates the purchase and sale of tickets for sporting events, concerts, plays, and other live entertainment events. It has expanded from the largest secondary-market ticket marketplace in the United States to the largest ticket marketplace in the world.

How do I transfer tickets from my Apple Wallet?

Sporting event tickets (for example, Notre Dame tickets) cannot be shared through Apple Wallet. You do, however, have a few options. Some appear to be more "official" than others.

You can access your ticket account app (presumably not Apple Wallet, but an app with your Team's name).

You should be able to transfer the tickets legally and officially through that app.

To accept the transfer and see the ticket on their phone, the person you're transferring to will need their own login to the team's ticketing app.

This is the primary method for sharing files to pals. Because it is free, this is the greatest option. If you wish to charge a friend, you must collect payment the old-fashioned way.

The majority of teams have joined with StubHub. (Another post will explain why this isn't a violation of antitrust rules.) You should be able to "sell on StubHub" or, in the worst-case scenario, type the ticket barcode into StubHub and post them online.

StubHub will handle the rest. (And when I say "take it," I really mean it. They'll also charge the standard 15-20% fee on both the buy and sale sides).

Please keep in mind that if the tickets have not been properly transferred to you, the original owner will be able to see that they were posted to StubHub.

Simply take a screenprint of the ticket from your Apple Wallet while it is open.

You can do this by simultaneously pressing the Volume Up and Power buttons. The image will be saved to your Photos app, and you may send it over text or email just like any other image.

This is technically not "authorized," but I don't believe there is much teams can do to prevent it.

Be aware that sending a screenprint creates a replica, thus the first person to enter the game with that barcode will render all other replicas void and useless.

How to Put a Ticket in Your Apple Wallet

This article will show you how to add a barcoded concert or event ticket to your Apple Wallet so you don't have to carry all of your paper tickets around with you. If you have a paper or digital ticket, you can accomplish this.

Add a Digital Ticket

Launch the ticket-related email or mobile app (on your iPhone or iPad). For example, if you buy concert tickets from Ticketfly, you'll receive an email confirmation as well as digital copies of your tickets.

  1. You can discover digital versions of your tickets under "My Events" or "My Tickets" by opening the app with which the tickets are attached.
  2. Messages, Safari, AirDrop Sharing, and a notification can all be used to obtain your digital tickets.

Activate the ticket (if the ticket was sent in a file). You may receive a notification that you have a file share and must open the file to view the ticket. However, before you open the file, be sure it came from a reliable source.

Select Add. If the ticket is Wallet-compatible, you will see "Add" or "Add to Wallet" in the top right corner.

To finish adding the ticket to your Wallet, follow the on-screen directions. You may be asked to configure your ticket choices, such as proximity notifications and the location of the event.

If you have proximity alerts enabled, you will receive a notification on your lock screen displaying your ticket when you arrive at the venue.

Scan a Physical Ticket

  1. Open your wallet. This app icon resembles a white wallet with colored cards shown on a black background.
  2. Tap the addition (+) sign. This icon can be found to the right of the "Passes" heading.
  3. To add a pass, tap Scan Code. This will be shown in the center of the screen. Your camera will start up.
  4. Capture the barcode from your ticket. To photograph the barcode on your ticket, place it on a flat surface.
  5. If the ticket is supported by Wallet, such as an event ticket or a cinema ticket, it will be automatically placed to your Wallet Passes section. You will be unable to use Wallet if it is not supported.
