How can I list tickets for sale on the SeatGeek Marketplace
SeatGeek is a live entertainment company that is redefining tickets by putting fans, teams, and venues first.
They are fueling a new, open entertainment sector in which fans can easily access experiences and teams, venues, and events can easily reach their audiences.
You can resale tickets by going to their website or app's Tickets tab, seeing the ticket details for a specific event, and then clicking or pressing the Sell Tickets button.
Only tickets that have been uploaded to your SeatGeek account can be sold. When your tickets are sold, they will automatically appear in the buyer's account, so you won't have to mail them yourself. You will also be contacted by email once your tickets have sold.
1. Access your SeatGeek account.
2. Hover over the icon in the upper right corner and select Tickets.
4. On the ticket group, click Sell and specify the amount of tickets you wish to sell and how they should be distributed.
5. Determine your pricing and tap Tickets should be listed. Some events may require a minimum price for tickets when they are placed for sale. Don't be concerned! If this is the case for your event and you attempt to make your ticket prices too low, you will receive a notification informing you of the minimum listing amount.
- You may change or remove your listings at any time before the event by clicking Edit or Delist.
- At the moment, the SeatGeek Marketplace only takes PDF tickets, images of mobile tickets, and NFL mobile barcodes.
How do I amend or remove my listing from the SeatGeek Marketplace?
If you want to change the pricing on your SeatGeek Marketplace offering, go to their website's Tickets tab and examine the ticket information for the listing you want to change.
In the designated fields, update your listing with the desired price, how they're split, and the quantity.
To remove your tickets from the SeatGeek Marketplace, go to their website's Tickets tab and see the details for the ticket you want to delist.
Once on the ticket detail screen, in the history section, click the Delist Tickets button. You will be asked to confirm your deactivation, and once you do, your tickets will be removed from the SeatGeek Marketplace!
Where can I find my listing? I listed my tickets, but they are not visible on SeatGeek.
If your tickets are in a "general admission" section or parking lot, please keep in mind that SeatGeek's Marketplace will prioritize the lowest priced listings.
If your general admission ticket listing is priced higher than other listings, your listing will be placed in a queue. Your offering will then appear if it is listed at a lower price than the current resale marketplace, or if all of the other lower priced tickets have already sold.
If your tickets are not classified as "General Admission" and you are still unable to view your listing, please contact SeatGeek support for more assistance.
How long will it take to get paid once you've sold tickets?
They will transfer your payout within 24 hours of the event's conclusion, and it may take up to 5 business days for the money to show in your bank account.
Why is it necessary for me to keep a credit card on file in order to sell tickets?
They need all sellers to have a valid credit card on file, but they will not charge it unless the seller fails to meet their obligations.
If there is a problem with the validity of the tickets sold, the seller's credit card may be charged a penalty as well as the cost of replacing the tickets (up to 200% of the order cost).
When you offer tickets on SeatGeek Marketplace, this payment card may receive a temporary authorization. This is a security measure to ensure that your card is valid.
Do SeatGeek charge a seller fee?
SeatGeek allows you to submit and list your tickets for free. If you sell that ticket, they will take a 10% commission. This is done to keep their platform healthy and operational. When you enter the price at which you want to sell your ticket, you will be paid that price minus 10%.
